pretty as it is along 95? I couldn't believe how pretty it looked on our drive up to Virginia. I don't remember it looking that nice on our drive down to Florida 15 years ago.

Well, the parts I have seen are much prettier than the drive along I-95.

Savannah is wonderful and the little town of Helen is very nice.

I'm looking forward to returning to Savannah during the Christmas season. I hear it is absolutely beautiful then.

All the mountain areas around Helen are beautiful! But then, so is Savannah and Macon and Athens and Atlanta and....

YES, GA is BEAUTIFUL! I live 10 minutes from Macon and the yoshino cherry trees and dogwoods are to die for. I have a mountain cabin in Blue Ridge GA and all I can say is AHHHHHHH. The mountain Laurels take your breath away! When I want a quick vacation for DH, myself and the kids we are off to Savannah. I love Savannah so much, it is so rich in history and educational museums for the kids. Georgia has it all, from beaches to mountains and everything in between!

The State is pretty--mountains, greenery, etc etc. the coast is gorgeous.....yep---even the drive down I-75 to WDW (complete with the We Bare All billboards) aint' too bad........

Georgia was pretty. I wanted to spend more time exploring Savannah, but never got the chance.

I only know GA for Atlanta, and not much of that even. I was heading towards Chattanooga area of TN when I went too far while traveling to a DIS meet some weeks back. It was a pretty drive, wherever I was.

Hmmm...I may have to visit on a vacation.

Chattanooga! Now that's a place Keith and I visited and actually thought of moving to! But Florida won out at the time.

I'd choose Florida over Chattanooga too, but that's because I've lived near Chattanooga all my life.

Yup. I agree, Shannon. Sometimes you just need a change. I got tired of HOT sunny weather. LOL! But now it means sooooooooooooo much in Virginia!

I agree, I-75 is much prettier than I-95!

But, you can't beat the Great Smoky Mtns. of NC!
