I was thinking of staying at the HRH because I have 3 boys and the HRH deluxe rooms are huge with a pull out couch. All my boys love, love , love to swim. One of my twins is on the Autism spectrum. Sometimes loud noises bother him. I read that the pool has under water speakers. I'm concerned that it would be loud and bother him. What do you think????

You have to really listen for the music to be able to hear it underwater. To me, it's no noisier than any other pool with kids running around playing. I've never been in your situation, but I wouldn't worry about the noise. I bet your kids will love HRH. :goodvibes

Thank you I feel better. He is fine at all the WDW resort pools (we have stayed at almost all of them :goodvibes) so he should be fine. I really wanted to stay at HRH because of the extra room with the 3 kids.

If he's fine at the WDW resort pools, I would think he would be fine at HRH's pool. Like tarheel said, you really have to listen for the underwater music ~ it's not loud at all. Hope you have a great trip!

It's really not that noticable...On our first trip based on all I read I fully expected to hear the music more. But by the pool it's not to bad, frankly I think it was more noticable in the main lobby.:)

I agree with all the previous posters that the music at the pool is not at all intrusive and is quiet enough that it won't be an issue. However, the staff at the pool organizes pool games each afternoon for the kids who are swimming. At one point while I was there, they decided that a screaming contest would be a great idea. I headed back to my room. I've also seen them organize games of Marco Polo (obviously much quieter), and other less noisy games, but there is always some noise and disruption during that time, and the kids seem to love it. If they announce that it's "pool game time", you may want to take a break from the pool area. The staff there is great, so if you ask them for the afternoon plans on your way into the pool area, I'm sure that they'll let you know what to expect.
