I have the Spring Disney Visa offer booked and paid for already. package. was the offer that just expired on Mar 31st.

so can anyone tell me if this new offer is any better price wise? if it was would I be able to change or is it too late?

I am going to call later, can't right now.

thanks :)

ps...we are at BWI

The new offer covers different dates, mid June to mid August. If you booked a spring offer that partially included the new summer promo dates you just have to figure which discount works best for you, most likely the part that includes the most nights. If your dates are before mid June then the new promotion doesn't apply.

Discounts for summer look similar to spring but not all resorts are included. Also, summer season rates are higher for most time periods, so the same % off would still get you a higher price if you follow my logic.

I didn't realize that until after I read it again..I thought i saw April...not June LOL
thanks :lmao:

Plus, on the new visa offer, mods are 20% vs. 25% with the spring offer. Values are 15% with the new offer, 20% with the spring offer.

The spring discount tickets are about $30 off per adult while the summer ones are only about $12 off per adult.

I was bummed. I called at 9:00 EST the day the offer was available for the general public. But they were already fully booked for the Finding Nemo suites. Since the discount was only like $150, I didn't switch to another suite.

Strange as it may sound, when I look at the pictures of the Cars and Lion King suites, they make me dizzy.

I would have loved to save $150 if I could have kept a room in the Nemo suite.

susanktz_- I bet the nemo suites weren't included in the discount for your dates b/c they are the preferred section. I checked for my dates in August and they only had cars included.

I had to chuckle at dizzy. The decor at AoA isn't for me.

Some people were able to book the Nemo suites with the discount, but they sold out quickly.

I was on the phone @ 7 am that day trying to do the same thing with no luck. You might be interested in the thread I started ("AoA Nemo suites not included in summer offer-switch resorts?"). I'm thinking that the 2-3 Nemo suites that might have been available for the offer were sold out the day the Visa offer came out. Cars & Lion King don't do anything for my kids (11 & 9) but they love the Nemo theme, so like you, I didn't switch. I'm definitely considering other resorts at this point. With the $ we'd have tied up in lodging @ this 'value' resort for this theme with no discount, we could actually save a couple hundred by staying at one of the deluxes (std room of course)! Not an easy decision. Hope your trip is magical!!!

I was also on the phone at 7:01 (I got distracted by making my coffee before work) and had no luck getting a discount for the one night that applies to this new offer (August 14). It's too bad because it could have saved us about $40 for that night. I'm hoping that I'm able to do something with our other 8 nights once a late summer offer comes out. I looked at switching but it wouldn't save us money for what we need - separate sleeping areas. Now I'm just waiting to see what else comes out of if something opens up. :surfweb:
