Is the new DDP giving anyone else nightmares?

Literally. We are really short on cash right now IRL. Last night I dreamt we were at WDW and I was all stressed out because we didn't have any money for tips. I was also trying to save bread and stuff from our meals to eat for breakfast. My sister and family were traveling with us. BIL is a big eater and kept ordering appetizers and extra desserts for everyone. I was freaking out and telling him, "NO! You have to pay extra for that!"

Just thought if anyone could understand what an upsetting nightmare it was, y'all would!

I feel your pain!

I am seriously stressing about the tips part, especially since I have seen a lot of passionate debate on these boards regarding exactly how much to tip.

The food part, I'm not too stressed about because we were usually so stuffed we were miserable - but I sure do wich they would let us chose between appetiser or dessert.

bet it was the first time ever that you woke up glad to not be in WDW!!

we're getting the DDP to reduce stress ~ as we have in past years. & same as in the past, i add $'s to a disney GC (throughout the year) to use at the FD (this year, it'll be used mostly for tips).
it's a pretty good "stress reliever"

Not sure how many are in your party, but look at it like this:

Your Disney reservation has to be paid in full 45 days before arrival.
Once your trip has been paid off literally put $1 in a box/bank everyday up until you leave. Use that cash for your tips. If you find any loose change, put that in as well. That will put $50 or so in your pocket for tips and if you could do $2/day you'd have $100.

I can only imagine how tight it is before that 45 day mark and I was so grateful last year that my meals, hotel, park tickets and transportation were all paid in full. It would have been stressful pulling together extra cash at that point.
