Is the MDE phone app buggy?

I thought this thread might be a good place to ask this:

We booked our trip last week for next year, October 2016. I know we still have quite a while until the real planning begins. Anyways, when I look at MDE on my computer, our reservation and tickets are there. But when I open the app, it only shows our tickets. I tried linking the reservation as suggested and it keeps telling me it's already linked. Are we too far out still maybe? Or just a glitch?
Disney told me that the App won't update till sometime next year, (we are going in Nov 16) and our friends booking for the same time is the same. I wouldn't worry till 180 Days. As long as it shows on the website you are good :)

Thanks! I figured as much. We went in 2014 and the app was a buggy mess back then too. It's amazing how bad Disney's IT dept is considering how huge they are.

I've found through experience, the bigger the company, the more things can go wrong with IT projects. Turns into Chinese Whispers!
 
Our last trip was October 2014, and it was a buggy mess then if you tried to change FP+ for that day on it in the parks. It totally screwed up our FPs in EPCOT, and the people at the kiosks could not fix it or get us back what it lost. It worked fine if you were making a change at night at the resort to something for the next day. A PP mentioned that they have made changes and fixes since that time, so if that is true, hopefully it is better now. I'm still not sure I am going to be brave enough to try to change a FP+ time on it, unless I don't care if I lose it or it doesn't give me the time it is showing me that I am getting. As least last fall, the kiosks were a much safer place to make any changes.
 

I'm extremely wary of the app from our trip in 2014. When Anna and Elsa's meet and greet FP was new and impossible to get I checked several times a day for availability. One of those times and for whatever reason, the page refreshed for whatever reason and all our previously booked FPs for that day were wiped out completely. Including 7dwarves and Peter Pan.
