Is the load too much for Disney's website often? Getting this today...

I used the discount to upgrade my room since it wasn't eligible for my booked standard room and also bought Genie + at the same time and ended up still saving $100. So it was worth it for me.
 
This is so crazy. I've never seen this on their website before. Or any site. How does a website require a queue?!? Madness.
They do this often now. Sometimes, for busy busy ADR days, you will get this. The DVC site apparently does this a lot now. It is better than just the site just puking though.
 

Shortly after I posed my message, one of the sites that has Disney planning did an article explaining this exact issue and that it was because of the discount announcement. They posted a picture like mine and added some details. I saw it and clicked on it from my Twitter feed.
 
Load or no load, Disney is a Fortune 50 Company! There is no excuse for Disney to have such a poor IT system. This has been an going issues for years and in the past 6 months it seems to have gotten worse. It's way past time to Disney to have beefed up their system. At this point about the only thing I want to hear is they've replace the head of IT with somebody that knows what they are doing. Ask yourself when was the last time the Amazon, Apple or you name the other large company had issues like this for months and months? If Bob Chapek wants to leave a legacy, he will fix the Disney IT mess!!!
 
I'm having issues with the app and the website both today trying to make an ADR. It wasn't early when everyone else was trying, it was 10:30 a.m. Gotta love Disney IT...
