Ok, so right now we have 5 day MYW tix with Park Hopper. That's $254.54

Last year what we did was just went ahead and made our tix 10 day PH with No Expiration. It was a fairly good deal. This year though it seems like the price really went up for No Expiry.

Now to have a 10 day MYW PH with No expiration, it would be $410.03. This amounts to a savings of $99.05 per adult in the long run compared to just buying another 5 day MYW ticket next year, or whenever our next trip would be.

Is it really worth the hassle of making sure you dont lose your tickets before your next trip? I know price will somewhat go up again next year, but just doesnt seem worth it.

Seems like a good savings to me, and if you lose ticket, no problem with the current system to replace them.

I would keep an eye out on ticketmania. i know the prices went up since last year, but we got 10 day hopper w/ no expiration & waterparks, etc for $358 per adult (they were on sale)

If you plan on coming back to WDW within a year from your last trip then I would suggest an Annual Pass. The last time I checked it was about $441.
Then you won't have to worry about the number of days per trip, plus you'll get some great perks as an AP holder like free parking and AP rates on the resorts, and various discounts on Dinning, water parks and tours.

There is a great web site to explain the breakeven point of tickets vs APs
