Is the Haunted Mansion busier at MNSSHP

Should I get a fastpass for this instead of one of the mountains, obviously between 4-7 pm. Going mid October

They don't have FP+ for the parties. All the fast passes on party nights are only available to 7. We didn't think it was any busier during the party than any of the other rides. The lines were not too long at all - maybe 15 minutes.

The HM is fairly popular during MNSSHP, but since there are no FP+s during the party, it moves continuously, barring ride stoppages.

I think you'd find the use of a FP+ for HM between the hours of 4-7 to be not quite worth it. The lines won't be long then anyway and the CMs get all decked out in makeup during the party. A ghost from the HM also heckles/entertains people in line during the party, so it's totally worth it to wait until the actual party to do it.

It's popular but not overwhelming as far as crowd size. I love the heckling ghost during the party!

I used my 3 FP+ from 4-7 for other things because I wanted to experience the HM at night when the CM were all dressed up in their costumes and Madame Carlotta was out there. Was maybe a 15 minute wait. I was there on 10/28/14.

The wait wasn't long for us. Maybe 10-15 minutes each time we rode, sometimes less. It's so fun to ride during MNSSHP.
