Is the flu still going around, or is it something else?

I ache all over so badly, have a 99.9 fever, a headache, stiff neck and I feel like death warmed over.

I thought I dodged the flu bullet this year, but maybe not.

Anyone else have something similar, or know someone who does? I don't know anyone else with this "bug."

Yes, it is still going around here. In fact I brought 15yodd to the doctor last week and she said that she has had families in that have had Influenza A and then gotten B.

I can't even imagine getting the flu twice in a row.

I don't know if it could be strep, but that is rampant around here. in fact, my friend and her kids just went thru it (again) and it didn't show as a normal sore throat/fever.

Geez, you'd think the flu would be dying out by now.

I remember getting the flu in WDW in April of 2001. I guess I'm a late flu getter or something.

Yep, it's still around. My friend and her ds have been down with it all week. Call the Dr-if you catch it fast enough you can take Tamiflu-it's suppossed to shorten it. Hope you feel better soon.

Yep. My dh went to the Dr the other day and was given the flu test after they ruled out a few other things. THe Dr said she had never seen a case of the flu so late in the year.

His temp has ranged from 103.9 all the way down to 96.3. We leave on Monday to WDW!!

They sent a note home from my son's school earlier this week that the flu was still making it's rounds. Then yesterday we got a note that somebody in his class has chicken pox. I didn't think the kids got that anymore. I know that I have a bad case of spring fever. We're headed to the beach in two more days for spring break.

I don't plan to do an hour by hour temperature check, I promise!

But now my fever is 101.5 and that's after taking 2 ES Tylenols an hour ago! Sheesh!

I'm just recovering after getting it last weekend. It seems that every single time I get the flu it's in March. I have no idea why.

I had the fever, chills, body aches, also developed a nasty cough and sinus thing. I'm still not well after a week!
