The status time is the default unix time (GMT - Greenwich Mean Time) which is 4 hours ahead of EST. They haven't converted it properly to your local time. The IT is very bad at Disney.

Me too! And they have the nerve to continually ask for us to take the survey, which goes on forever, when every single member and DVC employee already knows the problem.

I noticed something weird while in the waiting room. Under the status bar was the time the status was last updated. It was 4 hours ahead of EST . I guess it makes sense that the website sucks if it's being run from the middle of the Atlantic ocean.

I'm in -- following the waiting room. I'm in! And I was able to book VDH for my B'day and move a couple reservations from Grand Cal to VDH (with dramatic point savings ... to offset the out of pocket TOT).

Edited to add: I'm reluctant to leave my place in the site! I have 6 reservations now booked for Oct, Nov, Dec and Jan at either Grand Cal or VDH. Wowza ... like fishing in a barrel today once you get in. So much availability it makes me dizzy. I still have some points left over (newly recovered from moving Grand Cal 1BR reservations to VDH Studio/Duo reservations). Should I keep shopping or give up? The choices, oh my! This is so exciting for a West Coast DVC'er!!

I was able to log in, but everything is faded out once I go to my dashboard and I can't do anything. Refreshed the page, still nothing.View attachment 780720its down frequently. it’s been nothing but downhill since they fired all of their IT staff and replaced them with H1B staff.
