Is the DVC AP discount available at the Disney Stores?

I called our local Disney Store to see if they have the AP, I had heard some do and some don't Anyway, they do sell the AP's but she said they discontinued the DVC discount at TDS. I think she was confusing or lumping the old 10% with the current AP discount. In other words I'm not convinced she knew what she was talking about

No, you need to call member services or buy online through the member site. Or wait until you get to WDW.

Thank you. Do you know if I can put the DDE card under my name using DD's (adult) AP? If not, then I going to have to go ahead and get the voucher ahead of time.

No, it has to be in the name of the AP Holder.
