Is the Donald play area at SSR open?

I read somewhere on here that the Donald play area was closed for a repair - Cant find the post now, so, anyone who is just back - was it open??

I did not see anything posted on when the area would reopen. You might want to try calling the front desk of the resort. I think that I saw something on these boards that the area needed rehabbing b/c the underlay for the padding was either getting moldy, falling apart, or both.

I wonder how long it was actually open for. We were there in August, it was shut down and we were told it had been "acting up" for a month or so at that point. I did read on here that they seem to be "digging" it up for repairs.

We were at SSR June 13-18th and it worked fine then.

We just got back and we were told they have to do some repairs because of the padding. It was supposed to be completed by TG and now they are hoping it will be done by Christmas.
