I had looked at a deal last week that if you use a Mastercard you could get 4 2 day US/IOA tickets and get a 5th ticket free. Now I cant seem to find it. It looks like it has been replaced with a free extra night deal. Does anyone know if this ticket deal is gone????

We have 5 of us going and dont need the 5 day offer (we are actually only going for one day - but want to park hop). This was our cheapest way to go, but now it looks like I will have to buy 5 2 day passes - really bummed!!!

Just called and they said if was disconituned on Friday..darn, I was going to buy it this weekend, just waiting to see the exact number going. Oh well.

Just buy the one day/2 park ticket when you get there. It is only $10 more than the one day/one park ticket and is $30 cheaper than the two day passes . It is only $69.95 plus tax for a one day/ two park ticket at the gate.

Just wanted to add that the one day/one park tickets costs $59.95 and the one day/two park ticket costs $69.95.

Thanks guys,

BTW Phamton, where did you get the price for a 1-day 2 park ticket. I found through the Universal Orlando website (if you go to make a vacation reservation you can buy tickets only). The price for a 1-day 2 park ticket is about $85. Mousesavers website also lists gate prices for this ticket at $84.08 not $69.95.

Thanks!!

The buy 2, get 3 free is still available but ON LINE ONLY. I bought these tickets yesterday. $99.95 per ticket, gets 5 consecutive days plus a discount coupon book. Available at www.universalorlando.com and go to tickets.

They are offering the $69.95 price at the gate now for one day/2 park tickets. The one day/one park is $59.95 at the gate. I also went up to the ticket window to make sure and the person selling them said they are trying to encourage people to try both parks. Here's a picture that MetroWest took of the banner advertising it (on one side of the banner they have a picture from IOA and on the other side a picture from Universal):

Edited to add:
Here's a bigger advertisement trying to encourage park hoppers with the "Universe of Excitement" slogan:

Phamton - thanks for the info!!

Do you happen to know how long this price is good for? Is it a limited time thing? We are not going until August, but I was wanting to get everything purchased in advance. But if I can save that much money - I would gladly wait as I need to buy 5 tickets. I just hope they stay at that price until then.

Thanks again!

I don't know how long it will last but if I had to guess, I would say all summer. When i talked to them at ticket sales, I was told that it was to increase park hopping as so many guests were only hitting one park and thinking they had seen Universal ( similar to people hitting Magic Kingdom and thinking they had done Disneyworld.) They are trying to let people know that universal has plenty to do and isn't just a one day after-thought of a Disney vacation.

If you PM me a month before you go, I'll go back to the ticket purchasing area and ask them how much longer they think the prices will last.
