iS the DDE worth it??

We Are AP and wondering if the 20% off with the DDE is available at all Disney restaurants??? We are wondering if we should purchase it....It will be 2 adults, 9 nights of sit down dinners????

If you'll spend a minimum of $ 250 on those 9 sit downs, and if the DDE is accpeted at the places you're going, then the DDE will pay for itself. And true savings will be realized after that point.

Since the membership fee is $50, the break even point is $250. For 9 nights of dining, I don't know how you wouldn't spend quite a bit more than that?!

WDW owned full service restaurants are all included... even V&A. At resorts that don't have full service restaurants even the food courts are included.

Since you have APs, if you go back within a year, you will save even more.

I'm a FL Resident and have had the DDE card for 3 years now, and I can say it's worth every penny! Yes, technically, you'll need to spend $250 on meals to make it break even, but I've done that with at least 5 meals! It's good for 20% off the entire bill, alcohol included if that's your taste, and pretty much what you get discounted becomes your tip.

Also, if you plan on making more then one trip in that year's time, you can watch the savings roll in.

My husband and I just got back from a 6n/7d trip and we not only made our $50 fee back but saved another $60 or so and we are going to be able to use the card on or June 05, Nov 05 and Jan 06 trips. Definetly worth it.

ABSOLUTELY, I saved $43 (2 adults) in just 3 days, 2 breakfasts and 3 dinners and will get to use the card at least one more time, maybe two.

You must be an AP Holder or a Florida Resident. They e-mail you a confirmation letter that you can use immediately (they will even fax it to your resort). Phone 407-566-5858, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
