Is the Character VIP breakfast free?

Character breakfast is definitely on the Magic, Barcelona sailing 27th August - on the 2 sea days.
79 days and counting.... It's a fab holiday!

Someone else told me it was a Disney Jr menu but the Fab 5 characters. At least for Alaska this summer

Also did character breakfast on the Wonder in Alaska last week. We asked the waiter the night before if the breakfast was Mickey and co or Disney Junior. He said Disney Jr. When we got there, we had Mickey and co with the Disney Jr menu. At the exact same time they had a Jake kids workout and then a Sofia meet and greet, so maybe that's why they didn't have the Jr characters for breakfast? We were four adults, so we were happy with the change!

Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Pluto are far more popular, this started on the Magic last summer in Europe.

Hopefully this is permanent. Our kids wanted mickey and co and were pretty disappointed to get the disney jr characters.

Over on disneycruiselineblog, someone posted a comment in Scott's post about the character breakfasts. Character breakfasts are on 7 nt or longer cruises with at least 2 sea days. Disney JR characters are for any ship departing/returning to a U.S. port. Disney VIP characters are for any foreign port (including Alaskan itineraries, panama canal, and transatlantic)

I'm not on that one but I'm on the Magic from Dover to Barcelona and it was only on sea days
