Is the Anna and Elsa MG anything really special?

So I know it is super popular right now, but is this MG really anything special compared to the other MGs? Looking at doing the Enchanted tells with Belle, which seems like an actually unique Character expierience, but wondering if the Anna and Elsa one is also special some how?

It's just a regular meet and greet, yes. But, for the most part it's not the "place" that makes the meet and greets important, it's the characters themselves. So if you have a child that loves A&E, then, it's pretty special. If they're only so so on them, then... don't bother.

We just went in November - my daughters are 9 and 5. We did ETWB. It is cute and the girls had fun. They don't get much time with Belle - there is a quick photopass pic with each participant at the end of the show. I was able to snag a fastpass for A & E - it was the one thing that my 5 yo requested. I know experiences can probably vary, but ours was fantastic - especially with A. It was just us in the room with both of them, it was cute to see how nervous both girls were to meet Elsa. Really good character interaction. For us, it was totally worth it. We got some fantastic pictures. The line was so long, I was glad to have FP. I'm not sure we would have waited in the line. I hope that helps :) Have a great trip!

It's as hit and miss as any other meet & greet. The demand is about the popularity of the franchise, not about anything special in the meet and greet itself.

If you have a 4-8 year old girl, then it is THE MOST SPECIAL thing going ;) Otherwise, meh, it's a M&G. We turned it into an entire Mommy-Daughter morning (DH & DS slept in) with a magical sunrise boat ride from the Cabins to MK, rope drop, A&E, Mine Train, breakfast at a quiet little table on Main St, Flying Carpets, then the Aladdin & Jasmine M&G. Bonus was it was EMHs. Felt like we had the park to ourselves.

I liked it better when Anna and Elsa met together. Anna is always so cheerfully hyper and Elsa is more subdued.

I did have fun chatting with Elsa about the best way to share chocolate with younger siblings (I'm the oldest of 4 girls). She overheard me say I was the oldest to Anna so that made a great starting point for the conversation with Elsa.

And I was a solo adult. LOL

I agree meeting as a pair is far better and more interactive. The extra time for that is probably why it changed. :(

If you want to experience that again, head west to DLR. Short waits, they meet together and they have a lovely Frozen themed meeting area.

If you don't have a Frozen fan in your party, there's no harm in skipping it.

Each participant in Enchanted Tales with Belle gets to meet belle briefly at the end. If someone in your party doesn't want to participate but wants to meet Belle, you'll need to let a cm in the room know. Otherwise, all seated on the benches viewing are skipped.

My boys loved ETWB (they both had parts, so did DH) and we did the M&G with A&E in August. The M&G was good but isn't something we would do again. Both A&E were great but our boys just aren't that into Frozen. If you're really into Frozen you'll love it. I would say don't skip ETWB we skipped it in 2014 and once we saw it in August we were sorry we did.

No.
It's a straight up meet and greet.
The Fairy Tale Hall and room decor was not built for them.
No changes were made when they arrived - because they will be leaving.
In our 6 maybe visits they have never interacted with each other.
Anna tends to be bubbly and kinda cute, Elsa ........... sign book, smile, photo, goodbye.
Our least favorite M&G, we go because DS, who has special needs, likes to collect all the signatures.

My BFF and I will be doing the meet and greet in a couple of weeks on our birthday trip.
2 older adults and we are looking forward to it.

DGD met them (together) in DLR and loved it. It was a great one

Like many meet and greets, you get more if you put more effort into it. I asked Elsa about how to make snow and she gave my kids snow-making lessons. Adorable! I got the video and Photopass got the still pictures. I love those!

I will agree with other folks that it was better when they met together. Disneyland remains a sisters meet and greet and it's much nicer! But you can still have great interactions with the sisters separately if you have conversation starters.

My daughter was thrilled to meet them (huge frozen fan) but they were nothing special. I've heard Anna is sometime better than Elsa, but neither did anything to make it stand out in my mind. It was my Dd2 favourite character!

We are 5 adults and really enjoyed ourselves. Both Anna and Elsa interacted quite a bit with all of us.

I was disappointed in it. They were separate when we met them and that did seem to take away from the essence of characters. It also felt very very rushed. Probably the worst quality M&G we had ever done but that was just our experience.

I was also very disappointed. I was so excited to be able to get a FP even though it was for 11:15 at night. My daughters both had their Elsa/Anna costumes on. Elsa was great, but Anna was horrible. Very little interaction. It seemed like she couldn't wait for us to leave.

It is just a regular meet and greet. We always wait until almost closing to go meet them...hardly any wait time. We have met them twice recently. They both spent a good amount of time with my daughters. The last time we met them, we thought it was funny. Anna wasn't very talkative, and Elsa was very talkative. My daughters thought that was a little strange. Maybe since it was midnight...Anna was tired and needed her "beauty" sleep!

We loved Anna and Elsa together at DL. We had the best interaction and actually have a picture of Elsa laughing due to this interaction. Anna started a "game" where she and Elsa compare how much better they can twirl their dresses. Anna went first and said I'm not sure why I even bother as Elsa always wins. Elsa tried, once, twice with no movement and then both she and my niece looked down. My niece said, "oh, my bad" and moved. She had been standing on Elsa's dress. We all had a great laugh.

We had a great experience with Elsa! There was a little girl (maybe 3-4 years old) talking Anna's ear off. She was soooo adorable and Anna was just going with it. Everyone in line was just watching this little girl interact with Anna. Since Anna was taking a little extra time with this little cutie (and no one seemed to visably mind) , Elsa came over to the line and started talking to the people who were waiting (Anna's greet was before Elsa). I said to my daughter, "I bet Elsa could build us the best sledding hill ever!" That led into a rather lengthy conversation about sledding with Olaf, racing, having Marshmallow be there to determine the winner. We continued the conversation when we got to her to get the autograph and the picture. I think it was one of the best character interactions we have had.
