Is the $50 on board credit only for 7 night?

I called DCL and they don't know what I'm talking about. I didn't get any special rates or anything.

Maybe I can get a first time cruiser discount for my Mother in law(she's will be traveling with me).

I would call DCL again. It is my understanding the first time cruiser credit is $50 for Magic and $25 for Wonder, per cabin.

I called again and they said I would have to have the code or something.

I am not a first time cruiser but MIL is. They won't even give her the 1st time cruiser discount.

I sure wish I had found this board before I cruised last time. I didn't know about any of these things.

For you MIL [first time cruiser] request the code REF.

If you are a Disney Club member - you may be able to have the credit for DCM's applied to your ressie. This credit is also $50 for the 7 day cruises [not sure about the Wonder].

We are on the 4 day Wonder and we recieved $50 per cabin for the first time cruiser credit. I think it all depends on what Disney operator you get because I remember reading other posts a few months back and some recieved $25 and others $50.
Either way it's extra money

I wanted to let you all know, that after calling DCL 4 different times I got the $25 on board credit!!!!! Apparently the $50 is supposed to be for to be for the 7 night.
I'm happy with that!!

My MIL also called her AAA agent and got us the soda mugs and 10% off of rentals at Castaway Cay
