Is the 11 month booking window something that can be taken away?

I am very close to purchasing my first DVC resale and I have a question about the 11 month home resort booking window. Is that 11 month window considered an incidental benefit or is it part of the contract? I realize that Disney has placed restrictions on resale deeds by taking away some "incidental" perks and I want to confirm this before I spend so much money. The ability to book 11 months out is a benefit I would hate for Disney to take away.

It can be changed, but if it is in your home resort you will always have at least 1 month booking advantage over non-home resort owners. It should not matter direct or resale. Of all the things to worry about, this would be very low on the list.
