Is table dining available at MVMCP?

We are going to Disney in mid-Nov. I wanted to make a table dining reservation in Magic Kingdom on the same night we have tickets to the MVMCP, but just can't to get one. I've been trying and trying since the 180 day mark. Then, I thought I would try another night, but again no luck. MVMCP seems to be happening 6 of the 9 nights we are in Disney. So my questions are 1) can you make a table service dining reservation in MK when you have tix for it. 2) can you make table service reservations in MK for a night you don't have tix for MVMCP? If so, how is it controlled, so they know who has tix or not?

Thx

We are going to the Nov 12th MVMCP and I was able to get an early dinner adr at BOG. I think the TS restaurants only serve dinner until the party starts at 7pm... So you cannot make an adr past 7pm for MK restaurants. Those without tickets can reserve a table anytime before 7pm but will be politely escorted out to the exit of the park. Those with party tickets have wristbands . CM's are everywhere checking for them.

When booking reservations the only availability shown is for prior to 7pm due to the party schedule, so you'd have to eat an early dinner at the Mk or dine at a resort/different park. As far as them knowing who has tickets and who doesn't party guests are given special wristbands. Good luck and have a great trip.

Thanks! That is exactly what I was trying to do. I wanted BOG reservations on the same night as we have MVMCP tickets (11/19). I ended up getting BOG reservations for another night, but it's inconvenient and I may not keep it. Ugh!

I think when I was first making my ADRs, I didn't take into account the impact of MVMCP happening on nights that we didn't have tickets. Now I think I understand why I couldn't get reservations for some many other nights. Oh well.

Maybe re-do your touring plans to be in magic kingdom on the day of your reservations if you really want to eat there. It's a tough ADR to snag, I still have my fingers crossed to get a reservation there for this trip because we had no luck last year.

Since you're allowed into MK at 4 if you have tickets to the party, I'd have an early dinner there as opposed to during the party. You don't want to waste time eating during the party.

BUT, if it was me, I'd go over to Trails End over at FW with a 5:00 ADR (as early as possible). It's a great buffet and transportation between the campgrounds and the MK is a breeze.

This will be my first year attending MNSSHP and I just don't want to spend the time at a TS restaurant when I enter the park at 4pm. I'm guessing crowds are similar at both MNSSHP & MVMCP. I plan to use a CS credit for early dinner right when I enter MK. I will then use my "extra unused" TS credit for a special lunch at Coral Reef in Epcot on another day. Given the premium pricing for the party ticket, I want to spend as much time actually enjoying the party as I can. I love Trails End & would definitely second the PP's recommendation but probably not when I had tickets for a MK party that night. I'd hesitate to go out of park for dinner on a party night because of the time lost in transit. If counter service restaurants don't appeal, then I can think of at least 2 other possibles. Check out the menu at The Plaza. While not a great use of a TS credit on the DP, I have always enjoyed the food, shakes & banana splits there. The Plaza isn't as popular as BOG so ADRs (before 7pm) should open up over the next few months. The other possible is the opening of the new Skippers Cantina restaurant that is scheduled for sometime November. Its a long shot & I definitely wouldn't count on it, but its something to keep in mind if all else fails. Watch for last minute ADRs for openings. Another bonus possibility is that Liberty Tree Tavern should be up and running sometime in November. Rumor is that it is closed because the kitchen is being renno'd to share with the new Skippers Cantina. ps I would be very reluctant to give up my BOG dinner ressie for the non-party night. They are hard to come by. But, I recognize that it can be very inconvenient & tiring for a family with young children to park hop to MK just for dinner after a long day in another park. Good luck with your choice!

Thank you for all your suggestions. I was able to get a reservation for the Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace during MVMCP, so have decided to forgo a TS meal. I'm going to keep my BOG reservation I have for a different night since they are so difficult to get. I'll make it work somehow. Thanks again.

By the way, I found it REALLY difficult to get a TS meal on October 31. Ended up booking The Plaza at 3:05 for a late lunch/early dinner because nothing else was available later.
