Is SW a participating airline?

Is southwest now a participating airline for return luggage check? I thought I read on here a while ago that they were now doing this at POP as a trial. Is this still going on? Are they a participating airline at other resorts as well? I couldn't find the info.

The trial at POP is still going on and SW has not expanded its participation in RAC to other resorts at this time.

According to Southwest's bulletins, they will be adding the (three) All Star resorts to their participation starting on October 14.

Secondhand stories have been told (from Providence RI) about luggage not getting from Pop Century to MCO in time to be loaded aboard Southwest's planes. So there is still work to do.
