Given the size of the resort compared to Boardwalk and OKW, as stated above, and given the fact that there are more quiet pools to come, I think it will be just fine. When we were at SSR, we enjoyed the quiet pools as much as the main themed pool...and for the convenience, used it as much, since it was right outside our room. Don't forget the quiet pool that already exists has a gorgeous view of Downtown Disney. It also has some nice relaxing music and beautiful landscaping, making it a nice alternative to the main themed pool. I am sure that the future pools will also have their own charm, as this whole resort is just that--Charming!

Which, BTW from our many visits and experiences at BWI---we have always been told -- the room max is 4 adults per room, not 5 per room???

We were there at Thanksgiving with only phase I completed and had concerns even then which we expressed to the Guide when we toured the Grand Villa ( we own at BCV and HH) I think one thing that people are not taking into consideration when comparing SSr with some of the Disney hotels, is that the people who will be visiting SSR theoretically will be members who have done the Disney thing over and over. They may be spending less time at the parks and more at the resorts and therefore, the pools. People who are staying in the hotels often don't travel to Disney as much and are doing the parks daily and may not ever even tough the pool or not do so until later in the evening once they have done the parks. It's hard to say for sure but we had our concerns.

Sad to say I agree.Patpat15 said:DVC for the masses!

In my own opinion I think Artist Palette is going to be too small when the resort is completed..I was there during hurricane Frances and it was a MAD HOUSE...I can only imagine how busy it will be when the resort is complete.
Don't get me wrong I absolutely love SSR but I hope when it's completed it won't lose it charm.
OK, I'll bite: just who was DVC for before SSR opened?Patpat15 said:DVC for the masses! [...]
