Is Sprint scamming me??

I just received my phone bill with my local SBC. I don't have long distance with them so I expected a regular bill. Well....it seems Sprint put a charge to my bill for a call I didn't make. To Wallis Isl?? Never heard of it. Can you believe the charge for 2 mins is $25.80? That's with tax. I called SBC and all they would say is the charge will be taken off my account but...Sprint will bill me direct for the charge. How the heck do I prove I never made that call?? I've tried to call Sprint a few times today and their phone line is busy. Anyone ever have this problem??

I've had the problem with MCI. (How I ended up with MCI, I still don't know, I always thought I had AT&T, which made the call all the more suspicious). I called my local phone provider, Verizon, and explained I had a call on my bill that I never made. They took the info and told me to deduct the long distance part of the bill. My next bill showed no balance, so apparently MCI took care of it. I know what you mean. My call was to somewhere in Nebraska, where I don't know anyone or conduct any business. I think there's alot of this going around.
