Is split stay a pain?

We did a split stay once between the Yacht and Beach Club and the Poly. On the morning our our transfer my wife and our two kids went to typhoon lagoon and I took a cab from the Yacht Club to the Poly with our luggage because I didn't want to wait for the luggage to be transferred. I checked in at the Poly (they actually had a room ready but I was prepared to just leave the luggage) and then hopped on a bus and met my family at the park! We had placed two separate grocery orders with garden grocer for each of the resorts. We loved the split stay and although it cost a few extra bucks for the cab ride it was well worth it to have it with me on the transfer. Good luck!
