We are counter service people, we like to grab and go when ever someone is hungry. With the exception of Donald's Safari breakfast, and the Sifi Dine in. I have wanted to make ADR's for the Spirit of Aloha show, but am worried.. Is the cost worth it ?? And if so what section would you recommend ?? Kids are 3,5,8,10,13,17.. Do you think they all would enjoy the show ???

If you do the dining plan you dont get a choice in section but I really dont think there is a bad seat. Obviously the more expensive seats are closer in. My kids loved the show but is it worth the money if you are not on the dining plan? I dont know. Food is quite limited, if you dont like the 2 items, i think it was chicken and spare ribs than you are out of luck.

My kids at the time of the show were 4,4,and 7.

If you are "grab and go" people, this show may be a little long winded for you.
Food was good, and you get as much as you want. The storyline is predictable, but the dancing was nice. The fire eater was good. At the end, the kids are invited to come up and dance with the entertainers. For maximum effect of the fire and lights, you should go to the second showing of the night.

ETA- my kids were DS10 and DS11 at the time. They enjoyed it.

We went in September 2007 and had a great time.....we thought the food was very good and the show was cute :goodvibes. We were on the dining plan, but opted to pay OOP for category 1 seating to have a seat close to the stage :). Our boys were 12 and 14 at the time and we all had fun :thumbsup2.

It's ok - glad we did it once, probably wouldn't do it again.

On ddp, it's a stretch to say it's "worth" 2 credits. The show's ok. The food was really good. As others suggest though, there aren't a ton of choices.

We had 7 kids - all between 4 and 10 - they weren't bored, but they didn't have a memorable time either. I'd say your better off taking the kids to one of the shows over at Ft Wilderness - HDD or the Backyard BBQ for about the same cost.
