ANY ride is worth riding and experiencing at least once. It is really hard for anyone to say what your families tastes and preferences will be.

I think so. I also think of it as a classic and we ride it every trip. It's not a thrill ride by any means but I think the kids will like it.

I love SSE! It's a wonderful ride and a great place to relax. The descent through the blue stars is my zen moment. Also, I really like that burning scent it has for some reason.

Next time you go through the stars shake your head back and forth quickly, it's trippy.

It's a must-do for us every trip. Sometimes it's good just to get off your feet & enjoy some A/C. Sometimes it's good if it's raining. Sometimes it's good for a short nap....

Definitely! It is a classic! I was 6 years old and still remember my first ride on it.. It has been my favorite ever since.

Don't forget at the end of the ride to go to the computers to send yourself the video you made. Our kids love watching their video over and over again. We go on it every trip at least once. Especially in the heat it is a nice relaxing ride.

Absolutely. I think I was 10 the first time I rode it. Of course, that was 1984, and Epcot was still pretty new and Future World was still very futuristic.
But yeah, it's a neat ride. One of the ones I'm most looking forward to after such a looooong time away from WDW.

We will have a 9 months old and 11 year old when we go. Is this ride worth riding with them?

I doubt the 9 month old will care. The 11YO will probably enjoy it.

Yes! It's a classic. It's a good place to feed/nurse the baby in relative privacy and quiet too. Your 11 year old will like the interactive screen too.

Yes, Spaceship Earth was my favorite place in Epcot to cool off from the summer heat and feed a little one, since the older children were still getting to ride something instead of waiting for me at the Baby Care center. It is a really great ride and we still ride it several times a trip. I think it is worth it and would not skip it.
