Is Song up to something?

Just did my usual morning check for Nov. flights, and Song is showing almost $1200 round trip from BDL! Keeping my fingers crossed that they are really working on their website and a sale is pending?

We just booked four roundtrip tickets on Song for $288.00 each. We leave on November 28. After spending $260 in April, I thought that the $288.00 was high. However, after reading other posts, I guess the $288.00 rate is fairly average. Good luck! :)

Thanks Dana49. I have a hard time paying more than $250 out of BDL. Trying to be patient waiting for Southwest for Nov. 23, but if BDL drops close to BOS fare of $212, we may be purchasing today! Gotta leave soon for soccer, hopefully there will be good news when I return in 2.5 hours!

jUST GOT R/T FOR 176.00 FROM BDL FOR JULY, SO i AM SURE THIS IS NOT CORRECT

Well, they did drop their fares a little today. BDL is now $262, and BOS dropped to $212. After reading another thread here on "Thanksgiving Airfare for 2005", I'm beginning to think $212 doesn't sound too bad. Anyone want to share their opinion?

I booked at the $212.00 today for February Vacation Week here in the Northeast which I thought was great I paid $280.00 for April Vacation this year.

I think anything from $200-$220 from BOS, PVD or BDL right now is pretty good. Anything less than that, GREAT.

We are booked for Feb 05 for $249 RT, and for school vacation, I thought that was great!!!

With fuel prices sure to climb, I think if you see a good fare you can live with, book it!

As far as I know the highest fare on Song is about USD $300. one way, and that the $1200. round trip is a glitch during the time new fares are loaded into the computer. (The $1200. fare could also be a Delta code share refundable fare showing up on the Song website.)

If you are one of the first four (three, two) persons to book for each late afternoon flight Sunday after Thanksgiving the fare for that leg will be about $100.

Booked an approx. $215. round trip BOS-MCO for early August, not a particularly peak time.

"If you are one of the first two customers to make that purchase, the 27 inch high definition TV will be yours for twenty five dollars."

Thanks everyone for your advice- we purchased our airfare! BOS to MCO $212.74 each, leaving Nov.23 and returning Dec. 1. Now on to the next hurdle, park tickets! I think I'll give the credit card a rest for a couple of weeks though- just need to get them before the double Visa points offer expires!

I got $183.20 from MHT to MCO in October. I was going to drive to save money, but decided to fly. I was looking for even cheaper fares that what I got because in the past I got great fares. But after looking at what others are paying, I guess this is a good fare. It's already gone up to $198.80. :Pinkbounc
