Is Soarin ok for young kids?

OK, one more question. Aren't there several rows of seats, and do they all go as high up, or is it just the first row that is 40 feet off the ground?

Ok- it goes 40 feet off the ground? I am afraid of heights and I'm worndering if I should go on this ride. Is there any way to ease on to it, like a lower seat or something. I really hate that I get so afraid of things like this and that it stops me from going on the rides, especially when 3 year olds go on it with no problem!

Well, as I understand it, it starts on the ground, and goes 40' in the air. like a ferris wheel. I think that much is true.

Oh no, please tell me this isn't true! 40 feet? :earseek: Are all the rows this way? My 7 year old is deathly afraid of heights (won't even walk down stairs where you can see down below the treads!). I was hoping we could ride this.

OK, someone just posted on another thread that all the rows apparentley start on the ground, and the FIRST row gets way up there, but the last row is closer to the ground, but that does not seem to make a differece since you can't see the floor because of the size of the screen. So, I guess if you are on the bottom row, you get practicaly the same type of view as the top row. My thought is if you are on the first row in the line, you could close your eyes on the way up, and maybe convince yourself you are on the bottom row! :rotfl:
