How scary is this attraction? Is it basically an IMAX-type movie with moving seats, or do the seats actually move significantly?

My dd meats the height requirement, but she isn't into coasters or anything else "scary"..

Thanks :earsboy:

My 4 year old DD rode it for the 1st time a few days ago. She did well. She enjoyed it, but said her tummy felt funny after (she was not sick.) she rode it again a few hours later with me, and really enjoyed it. She isn't into scary either, but did ride BTM this trip and goofy barnstromer. She declined SM though. :teeth:

It really isn't scary at all, but if they get car sick easy it might be an issue.

The seats do rise up off the ground but all other sensations are "simulated" vs. an actual "coaster" ride....my nephew is 5 and Soarin' was one of his favorites when we last visited. Depending on the her age...if your dd understands that the ride isn't actually "moving", I'd think she'd be fine on it!

My DS4 loved this ride and said he was flying like Superman. It goes high and feels like you are going fast because the screen moves fast. All of my kids liked it, even our resident "Chicken Little" thought it was "awesome". :sunny:

I would think they would like it. The ride is very smooth and I thought a lot of fun :goodvibes

My DD3 princess: rode Soarin' and loved it. She was a little leary as it lifted her up, but when the film started she really enjoyed the "ride". She loved the smell of the oranges too!

DS4 loves this ride, but then again, not much seems to scare him---he raises both hands while riding BTMR as well. :scared: :scared1:

Thanks for sharing:-).

Dd will have just turned 6 when we go. I think she'll be OK now that I can warn her about what will happen. I guess she can just close her eyes if she gets scared.

My dd (4) does not like roller coasters or anything fast, and she really liked this ride. She was so happy to find a big kid ride that she liked. I don't think she had a moment of fear on that one. She rode it twice and really wanted to go back again.

The best word to truly describe this attraction is "AWESOME". I saw lots of small children on it.
One girl, about 4 years old, as she was leaving the ride, was literally jumping up and down yelling "Grandpa - let's do it again" over and over.

If you are worried how high off the ground it goes, ask to be in row 3 (it lifts the least off the ground). My reckoning was that row 1 was approx. 30ft off the floor, row 2, 20ft. and row 3, 10ft.
Im scared of heights and found row 3 much more comfortable than row 1!

SOARIN' is for EVERYONE.

But, (silly rabbit) TRIX are for KIDS. :teeth:
