Is Skyauction reputable?

I'm Canadian and wanting to book a 1 bedroom @ WBC in Oct. I have been searching for weeks and the best price by a significant amount is Skyauction (I've made sure there are no hidden fees). Anyone use them and were satisfied? Also, if anyone has purchased their cancellation "insurance", and actually needed to use it, were they satisfied? Thanks so much!!!

I have used them before with no problem. I don't remember seeing any problems with them over the years. I have never used the insurance so I can't comment on that.

I have used them for the resort certificates they sell three times. I had a great experience each time.

We've rented with them twice before with no issues. We also have a trip at the end of the month staying in a three bedroom at Silver Lake Resort that we booked through SkyAuction. I read about them here several years back and have never seen a bad review. I don't have any hesitation recommending them.:)

I have used them 10 times at least and never had a problem. Just be sure you read carefully and include the taxes. I just got a Bahamas certificate that I can't wait to use. i have never gotten the insurance though.

- Used multiple times via Auction and Buy It Now.
- Used at WBC a few times and Sheraton Vistana Resort a few times.
- ALWAYS read fine print, and all the way down the page.
- I have never had an issue at all.
- I once bought insurance due to illness in family, but didn't need to use it.

Know your prices if looking at hotels. I find by time you add the daily upcharge and fees that the price is sometimes more than I can find on my own.

I've used SkyAuction, literally, dozens of times over the years and have exactly one problem. I was booked into Wyndham Cypress Palms. I checked in and the first night was fine. On the second day they began a very extensive resurfacing of the parking lot and my building was completely surrounded by the project. My condo smelled like asphalt, construction noise was horrible (jackhammers!) and I couldn't park anywhere near my condo.

WCP had no other units available. (As far as I could tell, I was the only one in my building.) I called SA and was moved to Bonnet Creek (a nicer resort) for the rest of the week.

I'm another satisfied user. I have done an auction twice and a buy it now deal once. It was exactly as explained on the page. But read it fully. For example, a $299 deal per week may have a $200 up-charge for certain check in dates. And some dates aren't available. We just studied the pages for weeks until our needs were available and then we bought. We did Vistana twice and Bonnet Creek once. And it spoiled me for the times we had to pay full price.

If we are not staying at a Disney resort, we always start with Sky Auction first.

Yes, they are absolutely reputable. We've used them numerous times over the years. Their vacation certificates are tough to beat.

I've used them over 90 times and have never had an issue. I do not book unless I am sure I will go on a trip so I have not purchased or used the insurance.

I was very hesitant to use skyauction but took notes about what to look at and read all the fine print. I had a terrible time making the reservation but wrote to customer service and they made the reservation for me and sent a confirmation. I haven't stayed yet but hope Cypress Palm is going to be ok for us.

We stayed at CP 8/13 to 8/20 in a 2 bedroom through SkyAuction and it was great. Kitchen was a bit tight when both DH and I were trying to cook at the same time, but that was only a minor issue. Hope you have a great trip.

Thank you for making us feel a bit better about our condo. How far was it from WDW and were there restaurants around to eat at or grocery stores? We have a rental car of course.

Plenty of restaurants nearby. There's an Aldi down 192 that we went to and the prices were great -- 24 pack of water was $1.99 and eggs were 56 cents a dozen. The drive to WDW was about 10-20 minutes each day depending on traffic.

Have used Skyauction several times. We like the weekly vouchers currently on sale for $239 a week+ a $20 processing fee I think. I like to look ahead at what's available wherever we are going. You just put in the area you want and dates and they show you exactly what's available There is always a lot available in and around Orlando. We usually stay at Grand Villas or Cypress Pointe right across the street. There are many others also available. Have always been happy at either and they are close to lots of restaurants. and Palm Parkway and Crossroads.

We also got our condo on the $239 a week plus $20 fee. For a total of $270 we have a 2 bedroom condo. We had to write to customer service to get reserved but they got it done. Now with all the good information on restaurants and grocery, we are ready for Disney on a budget.

We've used SkyAuction and had no problems. Such great deals! Like everyone else has said, just make sure to read the whole page for fees/date surcharges/etc.

I've stayed at Cypress Palms many times through SkyAuction. It doesn't have the multiple pools or lazy river that Bonnet Creek does but is otherwise perfectly fine.

There is a Publix nearby and a Cracker Barrel restaurant within walking distance. Celebration is also close.

I always make sure I book the 1BR with a full kitchen. The partial kitchen rooms are much smaller. All of the 2BR units are large.

I also unplug the phones on arrival to avoid the sales calls.
