Is Shutter's as bad as the blog said?

a dining review is just as much a snapshot in time as it is an advice column. so on any given day.................:confused3............................as for the reviews on the Podcast, i think of them as entertainment :) and would not avoid any restaurant because of them.........to each his own...........for example i am a movie buff and often times the movies that are reviewed the worst turn out to be good movies......TO ME..........maybe not you or someone else. the podcast reviewers did not like the Rose & Crown, i do, could have done without the live squirrel......but other than that........

Shutter's was the only time we had a truly BAD experience at a Disney resteraunt.

The service was horrible, even though we were 1 of only 3 parties we were crammed into a corner by the door- supposedly b/c it was the only table that could accommodate my dad's wheelchair but that was complete BS- if anything he had way less space than at any of the other tables. And the rest of us had no space. I dropped a fork on the floor & couldn't get to it (we were literally that cramped) and the waitress looked at me like I had done it on purpose and never came back with another fork.

I honestly don't remember anything about the food.

We only went for dinner but as it is in the same place as the food court I'd skip it for breakfast and just get something at the food court.

It has probably been 2 years since we have eaten there. But we had multiple times.
When we have eaten there, it was not outstanding. But it was fine and the service was always good.
I would eat there again. However it would not be a first choice.
I think the times we ate there everything was busy and I knew we could walk in. They never seem that busy. Which I guess is telling in itself.
If the food is bad, send it back. :confused3
I don't think they are bad. But nothing memorable either, one way or another.
I would choose Shutters over a few other restaurants that come to mind.

As Kevin mentioned on the Podcast it is only his opinion. You may have a different experience but as much as I love CBR it made me think twice about eating dinner there. I didn't eat there in the past because I didn't like their limited menu.

I have been there BEFORE it was SHUTTERS and AFTER..it was horrible FOOD and SERVICE both times. We won't go back
