Is that inappropriate? I don't see why it would be but I've seen a couple posts regarding this with not too positives comments.

My Child will be 10 when we go and I'm just wondering if at a few places we can just share a meal. I don't expect to at a buffett or while character dining.

It's fine - we split every meal in Sept while on the DDP and the waiter was always more than accomodating (usually agreeing with us that there was way too much food and that was the way to do it!).

;)

I think those posts are typically just a matter of confusion. There is no problem whatsoever with sharing food -- the only problems stem from attempts to share the meals with folks not on the Dining Plan, i.e., ordering whole meals for guests (or strangers).

I also shared with DD10 during our August trip. Most meals were shared, and I didn't over eat, and she ate most of the desserts. Worked out real well :).
