hello everyone,
I plan on visiting WDW this september, about the end of the month.
I would realy love to know..: Is it considered a busy time to visit?
for instance: how long, more or less, would it take me to stand in line for a realy popular ride?..

Appreciate the help.. :thumbsup2

Daniela

I have been in Sept numerous times and it is one of the lowest attendence periods. Last Sept I felt like we had one entire building at CSR to ourself!

In the past most of the rides were walk-ons, or 30 minute waits at the most. However, some of the newer attractions, such as Soarin, will probably still have long lines...but just grab a fastpass and you will be all set. I don't know how the free dining offer will impact crowds though.

We were able to get ADRs at any restaurant on the same day. It was great!

We love going in Sept (other than the threat for hurricanes and the daily afternoon thunderstorms).

You will not be ableto ADR's the same day fopr some restaurants this year. Free dinning has gotten more popular and allot of places are booked out until the later times already for the last week of Sept.
We were there last year and the parks were not bad as far as wait times went. We are going back the last week again this year.

Enjoy goofydad

Yes, definitely don't count on getting ADRs at the last minute. You could get lucky, but you could also be out-of-luck. Be prepared.

Oh... so why not count on getting ADRs at the last minute?

September is the ONLY time we go. It's the best! Short lines (unless the ride is wildly popular Soarin, RnRC, TOT, etc.) But it's a great time to go!

BTW, We've been twice in Sept '03 and '06 and never saw the 1st drop of rain.

Of course, now we're cursed b/c I said that....

Dining has become very popular at WDW, especially with the ascendancy of the Dining Plan (and during August and September, the free Dining Plan). Since so many more people are planning on eating at restaurants, there is a greater chance of many restaurants being totally booked up long before you arrive.
