Went to Sesame place in PA this weekend. Same family as SW and Aquatica. They have these new fancy paper cups that was frustrating the masses. Each paper cup given for soda has a chip inserted in its base. The cup is activated by the register person. Once you use it to disperse soda in the self serve soda area, the computer in teh soda machine will not let you use that cup again. Not knowing this, people were screwing it up left and right. They might put a half cup of soda in their cup, let the sids fizzle down, then go to fill the rest of teh way only to get the message "Sorry, you must wait 29 min 45 seconds til your next refill. One person filled their cup, sipped it, realized the mix was incorrect and soda tasted like seltzer only. Went to next machine, and no luck. If you try to fill after 59 min and 59 sec after cup was irst used, it gives you a no go message. Even people with the refillable mugs were getting error messages. The employees were clearly unnerved by the new machine and the issues that went with it, and the customers were very unhappy and confused. An employee told me last weekend was its first use and she was praying it would not last.
