I was watching one of the recent shows on Travel Chanel about SeaWorld and was thinking that it maybe a good place to visit with my 3 year old son.

Is SeaWorld a place that we can go to and enjoy in 1 day?

I figure that the next time we go to Orlando, I wanted to go to Universal Studios, DW and SeaWorld and was trying to figure out how many days to go for each park.

We have always considered this a 1 day trip - have been 3 times now. The last time it was the end of August and relatively quiet - we realised how much we had missed then - you need to be a skillful planner to work in all the shows - so be sure to read the schedule they give you when you enter the park and take some time to plan your day.

The first 2 times we went in the summer - July and didn't plan too well - you should be fine if you start your day early and your not going at a time which is too busy.

We usually spend 1 1/2 days at SW due to their ticket offerings (2nd visit free, etc.), but you can see almost all of SW in one day. I would note there is a collection of shows with a variety of time offerings. Some only a few times of the day, so plan accordingly or just take it easy...don't worry about it. See what you want when it fits your schedule and then come back the following day to see what you like or a show you missed. We then head to DTD for ice cream and shopping.
