I ask a silly question like this because I'm there nearly every weekend with my daughter (we have annual passes). Unfortunetly, the park looks exactly the same as when I was in 6th grade...nearly 13 years ago. They seem to have TONS of gift stores, and a lot of the merchandise isn't exactly high quality. What gives? Why throw more silly stuff like that around every corner?

No, it's not one big gift shop. Is Disney only one big gift shop? It seems like it, but the parks have other stuff to see.

I really enjoyed Sea World (and have an annual pass myself) but I agree their gift shops are remarkably junky.

Wow, I think Sea World's gift shops are excellent...different stuff...not all sea world mdse...and not the same stuff in every shop.

There are plenty of gift shops but I think all the parks have a lot of shops u only need to go in them if u want too but i think is unfair to compare all thats in the park to a gift shop:jester:

I've always enjoyed Seaworld and I bought a terrific pair of sunglasses at the gift shop near the entrance and a great budweiser top too. I think the quality is good. I think because you have been sooooo many times, you need to branch out a bit....it's a case of "been there, done that" syndrome. Why not on your next visit try Universal/IOA.......I promise you you won't regret it!!:D

Yeah my kids got sweatshirts last year very good quality and I agree with Selina if u go somewhere a lot u do start to see it as stale visit one of the so called sea life centres in the UK and u will realise how lucky u are:tongue:
