Is Santa at your local mall yet?

My friend and I were at the mall last night to see a movie...we had time to kill so we walked around. All the holiday decorations are up...the holiday music is playing...

and Santa is sitting center court ready to meet with the kiddies.

Isn't it a bit EARLY?

I mean, you let your kid visit with Santa on November 16th...December 25th is an ETERNITY to a child...doesn't that phsych them up a bit early?

(I won't even go into what the over-enthuised "helpers" were doing...I was embarrassed for them...running around, screaming "SANTA IS HERE" and dancing...so not right)

It is way too early for Santa, Christmas lights, and that huge inflatable Santa or snowman in your front yard (directed at my neighbor down the street!) I've already seen Christmas trees in windows! UGGH! For me, too much too soon causes me to be completely done with the Christmas stuff before Christmas even gets here.

DING DING DING! I totally agree!

The only thing I like to have done before Thanksgiving is my christmas cards...so I can mail them out Dec 1!

Santa will be at my mall starting Saturday and I will be there with my girls for their pictures. I don't want to be anywhere near the mall starting next Friday so I am THRILLED to see him arrive early. Not to mention, no thanks, I prefer not to wait for an hour with two kids so that they can have almost no interaction because Santa is too rushed. We'll be one of the few families that stop on Saturday and because they're not busy the elves are much more helpful in getting those perfect expressions!

He was there this morning when we were at the mall..and my kids were so excited and asked to go see him.
Though I think it is way early, I agreed because there was no line..and I am happy to get the visit in when we don't have to wait and they could spend all the time they wanted talking to him.
So it worked out well. :)

We went to see Santa last night! It does seem a bit early. I remember when I was little the first time you saw Santa was at the Macy's Day Parade and then in the stores.

I'm glad he was there a little earlier this year cause I wanted to get the photo done before our WDW trip next week and by the time we get back, I'll have some Christmas catching up to do so that's one thing out of the way and I don't have to fight the crowds.

I just got back from the mall and picking up dd pictures at penneys and the train was going and a line was formed to see Santa..... :confused3

I first noticed Santa in our mall the Tuesday after Halloween. He looked bored.
