We are going to stay at the BCV in Dec and average highs are 74 degrees. If it is 74, is that warm enough for swimming? is SAB heated? Are any pools heated?

Thanks

I believe that all pools in WDW are heated...DVC pools included, of course.

All pools are heated.

We are from Minnesota. In winter we will swim if it gets into the 70s. But the pools are pretty empty and people look at us like we are nuts - except the people who say "Oh, are you from Minnesota or Michigan?"

My main concern is the time that SAB closes-I've heard it closes pretty early in the winter. Seventies are perfect swimming weather-We will swim no matter what the temp-As long as the water is warm.

You betcha, eh?

I live in Michigan and was born in Green Bay - if the water ain't frozen, I can swim in it! ::yes::

Same from Ontario, Canada - swimming season is late May to early October (at least)

thanks

We swedes from NH like it in the 70s in January, too! :teeth:

We're at BCV right now. SAB is about 82 degrees, yes heated. It's ok as long as the breeze is light and you don't have to walk up to the top of the slide

Yesterdays air temp was about 75. So yes, it is definately swimmable in December. It's the getting out that might sting. Also, currently the pool closes at 8pm. That might change this week with T'day here.
