We are planning on going to MK after we debark on Jan. 22nd. I wasn't able to get a fastpass for 7D so I was wondering if I could make it to rope drop to do it then? What is the earliest you have gotten to a park after your cruise? Looks like MK hours for that day are 9-10 with EMH from 8-9 (we aren't resort guest so can't take advantage of them :() Thanks for your help!

It would be very, very difficult to make rope drop. The drive from the terminal to the TTC is over an hour. If you do express walk off, assume that the ship is cleared and they let people off starting around 7:30. You'd have to clear customs. Even if you could do that and get to your car by 8:00, you'd still be reaching the TTC after 9:00.

Thanks for the reply, I was hoping they would start letting people off the ship before 7. I guess I will have to keep checking fastpasses to see if I can get one.

It's possible for customs to clear the ship and passengers get off before 7:30, but not much earlier. We're talking possibly 7:15, not 6:45. That that's if everything goes perfectly and there are no delays in the ship getting to PC or customs clearing the ship. You might be able to make it to the MK close to 9:00, but even if everything goes perfectly, you'd be at the back of the rope drop crowd.

Keep trying for FP+ for the Mine Train! You still might be able to get some if someone cancels. Not sure how large your party is, but sometimes it makes sense to just book single FP+ (or smaller groups) with overlapping times. For example one person has a FP+ for 10:00 to 11:00 and the other for 10:30 to 11:30, they still can ride together. Good luck!

:thanks: That worked!!! You are a lifesaver!

You would want to be through the tapstiles at MK before 8:30 anyway which sounds impossible with the drive and parking
