Is renting points from two owners allowed?

We want to rent 312 points but I haven't found an owner with that many yet. Can I rent 176 from one owner for 5 nights and 136 points from another owner for 2 nights? Is this allowed, and will reservations know how to handle it? Thanks for your help. Sorry if this is posted on the wrong forum, I wasn't certain where it belonged.

You can rent from multiple owners. If you aren't a DVC member having points transferred into your account, you need to rent enough from each member to cover "x" number of full days (ie. can't rent 1/2 the points for transitional day from 2 different members). Also, you can ask the members to have MS make a notation, and link the reservations so that you don't have to move, but you need to remember that this is only a request, and not a guarantee. Either you or one of the owners would have to have the reservations linked. I did that last year, a friend booked 3 nights and I booked 1 night, we linked them and they were like one reservation.

i faced this issue with one of my renters in 2002...........my solution was to have her pay the other DVCer and transfer those points to me and then i made all her ressies for her ........she had a Week in a GV during Xmas so it made it easy to do...........but you have to have a dvcer willing to do it.........or you can offer to pay them to do it..........i did it for her because we have dealt with her before
