Is Rapunzel an option at BBB?

I'm sure this has been asked, but curious if Rapunzel is a princess that you can choose to be at BBB? If so what does the outfit, hairpiece entail. My 5 year old is just CRAZY for Rapunzel.....we have the dress and the long hair piece/braid but would probably still purchase all they had available as she's wearing her current dress uut. Thanks for any info!

Also wanted to ask, last time at the BBB DD was Belle. They were out of the shoes and we had to get a dress in a size smaller then I wanted. Has anyone called the BBB directly and had pieces/sizes reserved??If they do have Rapunzel and they are out of it when we arrive, I don't want to even get into that type of disappointment in a star-struck (Rapunzel-struck) 5 year old.

When we were there in December, they had Rapunzel's dress and accessories and a long braided wig with flowers. I saw a few girls around the park with the wig and it was cute, but my daughter would have never kept it on.

I was wondering the same thing! My 3 yr old is getting a make over in July and would love it. She did it last yr and got Tiana. I will keep my fingers crossed!!!!

We too were stuck getting shoes a smallers size that just fit and gloves/purse from Tinkerbell bc they were out. I never thought of calling for her sizes. I would love to know that!!!

They had Princess Tiana as an option even before her movie was in the theaters so I can't imagine why they wouldn't have Rapunzel as an option now.

I purchased *mid Jan* *this* wig by calling WDW DelivEARS ~ 877-560-6477 *At that time DLR DelivEARS did not have it.
It cost me ~ $19.xx :thumbsup2 + almost $10 for shipping :scared1:
The DLR DelivEARS number is 800-362-4533 *maybe they have it in stock again...

I wanted to have it beforehand in case they were out of it when we visit BBB next *hopefully for DD's 8th B-day*

While I have seen girls with the Rapunzel dress on, the BBB package may have ended at the end of 2010.

Thanks so much for the link. I did call and  they aren't offering anything Rapunzel at BBB...not any type of package. My DD5 talks about going to BBB for a Rapunzel makeover every day. I'm crushed for her and all the other little ones that love the new Princess. I am really baffled as to why they would discontinue this before the release of the DVD. As well as the higher Rapunzel item sales volume in relation to the Princess and the Frog which they still offer Tiana. Very disappointing!! I guess we won't be going to BBB as she's only into Rapunzel right now.

Why don't you just buy another dress and hairpiece and take it with you (along with a toy frying pan LOL) and just buy the smaller makeover only BBB package and have her wear the dress you brought? Lots of people do the smaller package with their own costumes. Then she won't have to be disappointed poor girl!

Yep ~ to the poster right above me.

If you want to budget ~ you can bring a dress from home or pre buy it.
*This* ebay seller has the same items sold in the parks for a much better price. I don't know how she does it but I won't complain ;) If she doesn't have listed what you want/need send her an ebay message - she'll list it for you when she can you just have to get it *BIN* before someone else does. DD has several dresses/costumes from her. You could look through her completed auctions to see what else she's had.

She'll still feel very much like a princess *she can change in a dressing room if you bring her dress/costume with you. We've only done the coach package, hair doo and make up ~ my DD hasn't complained.

My DD's had 3 BBB experiences - twice at DLR & once at WDW.

Her 1st visit can be "seen" *here*

2nd experience was at WDW 10/09 *we attended MNSSHP and she went as Tink ~ she wore the Disney Parks Tink costume that I pre purchased from the "ebay lady"

3rd time was this past July ~ her 7th B-day trip. She went as "new" Tink ~ I purchased the Disney Store dress/costume off ebay ~ *here's* what it looks like.

I was just at BBB two days ago and I can confirm all they have in the store is the dress. I think it was 70-80$. There were no wigs, shoes, wands, purses
or anything for Rapunzel. Disney really dropped the ball here because there were TONS of little girls dressed as her around the park and the wait to meet her was an hour and a half. My DD loves her too and had the Disney Diva hair style with the long strands that come down. She thought she was Rapunzel because she has a short bob haircut. It was so fun and cute expect for the wait to be seated, but that is a rant for another thread.

Ok I'm with a bunch of other posters....here's what I would do. Make the appt for hair/nails or even just hair. Get the bun with the tiara updo, take your own dress (they will let you put it in a dressing room and you can surprise your DD with it), shoes, accessories (I would take a stuffed Pascal and a small toy frying pan) and I would get a wig as well, after her hair is done up add the wig yourself. I think that would be super cute and very doable, and very budget as well. :) She'd also have the coolness of being a unique Princess in the park for the day. :)

A couple of years back, I read about a little girl who wanted to be Alice at the BBB. I guess they had the dress and shoes there, but no other accessories. As they had paid for the really expensive package, the little girl was able to go out into the WOD store (this was in WDW) and pick out a couple of things to complete her ensemble (the one thing that I remember in particular was that she chose a Cheshire Cat plush purse type thing). Perhaps you would be able to do something similar for Rapunzel. It is puzzling why they wouldn't have a whole bunch of Rapunzel accessories there, considering she is the newest princess. However, I have a feeling that some other characters that little girls may want to dress up as, such as Mulan and Pocahontas, aren't there either.

Disney Momma, your DD is a darling princess! Would wearing a wig restrict the rides the lil princesses could go on? Wouldn't want her to flip her wig on the Matterhorn or Big Thunder Mtn, or get it wet on Splash Mtn (assuming they eventually finish that refurb.) Gives new meaning to the Tower of Terror being a hair-raising experience. 8^)

Personally I would love to show up at a Disney halloween party dressed as Maleficient but the costume is rather cumbersome and I'd rather be able to move.
