Is putting water bottles in....

Does anyone know if I put water bottles in my luggage, will they leak or explode? Don't want any wet clothes.
Would you put them in checked or carry-on luggage?

We took ours in our checked luggage last year. Wrapped them in plastic bags and tucked them in shoes. We plan to do the same this trip.

We froze bottles of water and put them in zip lock bags and packed them on the bottom of our suitcase. We put a towel between the bottles and our clothes. I think our clothes did a little damp, but it was mainly from the condensation. If you don't want to freeze the bottles, then you wouldn't have that concern?

So long as you put them in ziploc bags(in case they leak) you should be fine.

Just remember it will add some extra weight to your luggage. Most of the airlines are really cracking down on the weight of checked bags. Check your carriers website so you know how much you can pack.

i bought water bottles that come in a box ( just like a soda case) i plan on bringing them on the plane
