There will be six adults at WDW on this trip from 9-4 thru 9-10. Is it necessary to make PS due to the low attendance at WDW this time of year?
Also, can anyone tell me of their experience at the HOB Sunday brunch? Is it worth it?

YES! We went the second week of Sept last year and I started making PS's. If you are wanting to eat at the castle for breakfast, make that call 90 days in advance. I called that morning last year at 6:55 am and was put on hold, when they came back to me, the breakfast was already booked! Anyway, the only answer I can give you is yes, book your PS's even if going it September. Have fun!

To avoid any possibility of disappointment, my advice is to always make PS as soon as you know where and when you want to eat. Lots of folks report never having any problems just walking in--but I go in September quite often, and at some of the more popular places (especially on weekends) I've seen parties as large as yours--without PS-- turned away. Places such as Flying Fish, California Grill, Yachtsman Steakhouse. Just 2 trips ago, we ate at Flying Fish and saw a party of 8 and another party of 12 turned away on a Saturday night. They wouldn't even let them sit at the bar--no seats there either!! When they asked where they might eat on the Boardwalk, the hostess suggested they try the ESPN club!!

If you do decide to "wing it" at least try to eat very early in the evening--that seems to be the least crowded time at restaurants such as those I mentioned.

i agree w/uncle. i would rather have them and not need them than need them and can't get them!! usually it is just me and my husband and we always have PS. good luck!

Well just so you know, today started our 90 day window for PS for our trip Sept. 4, to 10th also. I called at 8:45 CST for a PS for Sat nite at the Liberty Tree Tavern, I told her I wanted b/t 5:30-6:30, she said good because 5:45 was all she had left. Last year we went the 12th-19th of Sept and I wound up with several PS around 4:45, that was a spur of the moment trip.

So I would say yes absolutely. I am making PS for every meal that we are eating out, 9 total for the week. We don't do counter service and are DVC so we will have a kitchen.

See you there!!!!!!!

We did the HOB Sunday Gospel brunch and it was WONDERFUL!

First of all the food was very good, the carved beef was the best I had anywhere at WDW.
The music/show was great....people were on their feet clapping along. I definately recommend it!::yes::

Isn't Labor Day weekend busy at WDW? We've never been at this time but I'm assuming the long weekend brings bigger crowds than what would be average low attendance for that month. That would make me want to have PSs.
