Angel knocked over a can of popcorn that had caramel corn, cheddar corn and regular popcorn in it.

Im not sure how much she ate.

Is Popcorn going to hurt her?

Hummm I've never heard of popcorn hurting a dog......I know Chocolate could. I'm no help huh! I'd make a quick phone call to the vet just to be sure.

I really dont think she ate that much of it...

I compared what was left in the can as to what I found on the floor and I really dont think more than a few were missing.
She probably tasted it and turned up her nose at it like she does everything else

( Shes a bit finicky ;) )

I don't know. It's just corn, when you think about it. The caramel might be an issue.

My cat LOVES popcorn.

The freak.

She'll be fine. I had a cat that loved popcorn. :)

My dogs eat popcorn (but just plain or with butter) all the time, and they're fine. I don't think it'll be a problem.

I don't think it is a big deal.....If you really are concerned call the vet and ask the receptionist. They can tell you more or less, I bet the receptionist has had weirder questions than that asked.:smooth:

Both of my Goldens love popcorn (the butter kind). They sit next to us hoping we'll drop some. When in doubt call you vet. They should be able to tell you over the phone.

My female dog will eat anything except lettuce, the male is a little pickier, but not much. She has eaten many things - fish food, gum, etc. The only side effect either of them have from eating "people" food is SBD, and if you don't know what that is, BE GRATEFUL.

Loves Popcorn, but, now that he is older, he cannot digest it as well.:o

My Sassy girl loves buttered popcorn. She has never had an adverse reaction to it, but I've never let her eat like a gallon of it, either.

Our guys eat popcorn all the time. They just don't digest corn that well. I have one that loves lettuce. The only foods that I have heard that aren't good for dogs are onions, grapes and raisins.

Mine eats popcorn all the time.......of course, he will eat anyting. When I'm cooking, he will eat whatever drops on the floor, --onions, watermelon, cucumbers, He has even been known to eat dryer lint out of the trash. We have to keep everything away from him

And CHOCOLATE!:o They cannot have chocolate.

Ooooh, I forgot about this. 2 years ago for Valentines Day, I bought DH a tuxedo heart box of chocolate covered marzipan (only candy he really likes). He left it on the dining room table. When I got home from work that day, it was no where to be found. Sadie had gotten up on the chair, dragged the box off the table and she and Max ate every bit of it, they did leave the little brown wrappers and the box, in many pieces. It didn't bother them at all, well except for the usual SBD>

Ok, I'll bite (my coffee hasn't kicked in yet and my brain isn't functioning at full speed): What is SBD? I assume the "D" is diarrhea.
