Is Pool Hopping Available

Can you pool hop between the Universal Hotels, such as Royal Pacific and Hard Rock??

Most definitely. It is encouraged. Just bring along a room key in case you are asked.

Great to know! We got an amazing rate at Royal Pacific. However my kids (18 & 20) wanted the Hard Rock, because they remember the great atmosphere. They were willing to chip in the little extra to change our rooms, but the discounted rate was no longer available for the HRH.

We always stay at RPR and pool hop to HRH for the slide and atmosphere. However we enjoy returning to RPR.

you need to bring your hotel room key in order to get towels at the pools when you hop.

Wow! I did not know that. (since it was freezing last December and we only swam once at RPR and had no interest in doing it again let alone traveling to swim-n-freeze LOL)

I also noticed this last time that even if you are not using room charging they need the room key to order poolside or at Beach Place at HRH. They hold onto the key until you are ready to pay. I guess they check to see if you are a guest at the hotel so you can't dine and dash.
