Palin is lying about the commission's findings. Sen. Biden has not been investigated or called up on ethical violations. Those distinctions belong to Gov.Palin and Sen. McCain.

OK, on a thread last week, I essentially gave Palin credit for being intelligent, just not equipt at this time to be VP.

I take it back, the only thing she is - is a consumate politician too stupid to realize even the least informed of all voters is not stupid enough to buy that crock of crap.

She has a type of intelligence--I hesitate to call it 'street smarts', but for lack of a better term, let's call it street smarts. She will never be able to speak deeply or extemporaneously on any topic, but she somehow is able to instill fear in people. It's almost a 'the bogeyman is coming phenomenon.'

She connects with people and they buy her 'the bogeyman is coming I'm the one who can save you from this.' It's amazing to watch. I just hope people don't fall for it. I have no doubt that some already have.
