Is Palin Crazy?

What does Biden have to do with Gov. Palin lying about the report saying she violated an ethics statute? I'm glad to see you're so easily amused......

A liar is a liar as someone else said...of course in Biden's world it's all true:lmao: :rotfl2:...anyone marching Barney Frank out as their flag of truth has lost a credibility:lmao:

Ummm, I am getting a sense of Deja vu.

Something about duct tape and plastic wrap...

something about Codes being elevated every time polls went down...

something about having to know your library books..

same bogeyman is coming type of governing

I'll take "JUST LIKE GEORGE BUSH" for $1000 please, Alex.

It's hard to imagine any hay being made out of this report considering the circumstances.

It's like if I shot and killed a child rapist. Yea, it would be illegal, but is anybody really going to be upset with me?

This is a non-issue.

You cannot take the law into your own hands. The issue is not what the other person did but what you did. I think people have gone to jail for killing a criminal, what you describe is still murder.

Palin abused her powers. It really doesn't matter why, it only matters that she abused them.

Unbelievable. She probably thinks if she keeps repeating that she didn't do anything wrong everyone will just start to believe her. They do have their own reality. After all she is still telling everyone that she stopped that bridge to nowhere. Bizzaro world.

It is called "Mars Attacks"....the aliens say "we come in peace"....as they shoot people down.:lmao:

Or "Wizard of Oz"...."pay no attention to the man behind the curtain".:rolleyes1

I don't think she's crazy, but I think she's unethical and not at all prepared for the job of VP. And the whole thing with her husband always sitting in on meetings really creeps me out. He has even less going for him than she does, which is saying something.

If you'd posted this three weeks ago, the Palin lovers would have been all over this thread. Now most of them are too embarassed to defend her.

She was a huge mistake for the McCain campaign. Who didn't see that coming?

For folks wondering if we need another bash Palin thread....

I think the need for such threads will taper off after Palin stops doing things bash-worthy. :teacher:

It sad how since your Democratic canidate is so weak you have to make fun of Palin to feel better about your choice. With all the Bush hatred you would think this election would be a landslide, but things are still close-wonder why? Focus on Palin all you want, and even if Obama wins I think he'll make a terrible president. Why? No not because of a personal attack I might make like you all, but because his voting record such as it is , is one of the most liberal in the senate. Matter of record, fact. Check it out. Socialism is coming in the face of BO. Be careful what you wish for. This is not a snide personal attack which seems to make you all feel so much better, very juvenille.

I think you're very confused about why these threads are posted. It is to help uncommitted understand just how bad a decision to elect McCain/Palin is.

Bush hatred led the Republican Party to nominate one of its most moderate members. That got my vote! :thumbsup2 Then, outrage by the right-wing religious reactionaries prompted the Republican Party to pollute the ticket with an unqualified, power-hungry, intolerant person. That shifted my vote from McCain to Obama.

I doubt "socialism is coming" -- that sounds like "the sky is falling" -- but if it does, the blame for it rests solely on the right-wing religious reactionaries in the GOP who polluted what could have been the saving grace of America -- a McCain/Ridge administration, perhaps. A new start for a Republican Party defiled by years of lies and abuses of power. Instead, right-wing religious reactionaries force their way, as is their tendency, and instead of a bright future for America, they make it clear just how much more personal freedom is in danger by voting Republican this year than voting for those crazy, liberal Democrats.

Again, the blame for Obama winning this election rests solely on the right-wing religious reactionaries. No one else.

Perhaps you should be much more concerned about the issues instead of casting your reckless aspersions on other members of this community of which you are part.

With any luck, the current era of American politics being dominated by rabid religious fundamentalism that started during the Reagan administration will end in 25 days or so.

It would be deliciously ironic to have the selection of Sarah Palin turn out to be the final nail in the coffin of this very sad part of our history.

Don't you even begin to believe it. The only thing that would have ended that era was a Republican win (with a markedly anti-religious fundamentalist constitution) not a Republican loss.

Allow me to clarify:

As long as there is religion, we will always continue to have a certain percentage of the overall population engage in irrational extremism.

My point was that if Obama should win, it will be the first time that the winning presidential candidate did so without 'selling his/her soul' (along with the inevitable IOU's) to that aforementioned group of people.

Palin is counting on the stupidity of American voters. The report does not clear her, it states she abused her power. People actually did hear that it said that but she thinks they will believe her instead. Well, maybe she is crazy.

I'm sure Palin will clear up any misunderstanding with a lengthy press conference, or perhaps doing the rounds on the Sunday morning political shows.

Uh, okay, I'll just disagree with you, on several levels, and move on.

.
Are you saying the irrational extremism is limited to religious radicals?
