Is Palin Crazy?

Was this person joking??? Not sure if I should be laughing or Holy crap, frightened out of my mind:scared1:

I think "Paliban" gives a clue :lmao: www.paliban.org

Although, after reading the Paliban Daily she linked to, I am not so sure everybody buys it is a joke. I think there are many that would take it seriously :scared1:

Regardless, it is a great post to show exactly why McCain pandered to the right and picked Sarah 5-pack.

BTW - You should look at the merchandise for sale on the Paliban website - it is hysterical

Another thing about a church self-identifying as black, is that for centuries the distinction between black and white churches was forced upon people. So, over hundreds of years "black church" came to mean something that people want to preserve. Nothing wrong with that.

So then there would be nothing wrong then with a church identifying itself as white and promoting a white adgenda then?

There are too many all-white churches to count. They use the term "church" they don't need to call themselves "white church."

Anyway, if it's important for you to view the the issue strictly in terms of race, go for it. It's still a free country thank God.

I didn't ask if they existed, I asked if you thought it was ok, personally I don't think it is ok in either direction.

From your definition, I highlighted the pertinate words. Anytime anyone is advocating for a single race or seperating races it is prejudiced.

Trinity Church is not advocating separating the races. Trinity Church is not stating that blacks are superior to any other racial or ethnic group.

Let's try this one more time--since you highlighted definition 2.
Main Entry: rac·ism
Pronunciation: \ˈrā-ˌsi-zəm also -ˌshi-\
Function: noun
Date: 1933
1 : a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race
2 : racial prejudice or discrimination

What evidence do you have that Trinity Church discriminates against white people (or any other non-black group of people) from participating in the church or its activities? Furthermore, what is wrong with stating that a person or a group is unashamedly proud of its culture? Why is it that I have the sneaking suspicion you would not have a problem with someone or a group of people being unashamedly proud of being fans of fly fishing, Mickey Mouse or anything Disney-related.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ethnic_group

Most black people don't have the luxury of identifying with people from their country of orgin, because they don't know their country of origin. "Black" is often used as a term to identify the ethnic group to which they belong. Remember when there was discussion about whether Obama was "black enough." Well, that couldn't have referred to his race, right? That was a reference to his membership in the ethnic group.

It is also a reference to his education and current socioeconomic status. Blacks, particularly those who are educated and have professional careers--e.g., law, medicine, etc.--are sometimes derided by other blacks as not being black enough (not keeping it real) because of how they speak, the work they do, because they apply themselves academically and succeed, where they choose to live, etc. This is unfortunate but it does in fact happen. I know from personal experience.

"Religious right-wing reactionaries"? "Unqualified, power-hungry, intolerant person"?

Sarah Palin is the only thing that can SAVE that ticket, and the Christian leader this nation so desperately needs!

She knows that Alaska will be a Refuge State in the End Times, during the nuclear Apocalypse. As President, she'll help us prepare with Operation Rapture!

Some paranoid liberal created this little site to scare people; however, it does show with relative accuracy the part of Operation Rapture that the non-Christian public will see:

thepalinpresidency.com

Members of the Paliban and other Christians will, of course, have been relocated to safety in New Jerusalem, underneath Alaska. Soon, a new Christian nation will rise, following all of God's Law.

How in the world could you think that to be a BAD thing?

If you have a look at the news reports, you'll see that Obama has spent far more time talking about his supposed "Christian faith" than McCain. However, I doubt his soul belongs to Christians . . . that's only my opinion, of course. I do not pretend to speak for God and claim to know what's in his heart.

:scared1: :scared1: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rolleyes1 :sad2:

Because none of the items you listed are about race, they are about activites. When you call yourself a Black Church, your making it about race. Plus I have seen some of the "sermons". They are a hate filled racist church and anyone that choses to belong, especially for 20 years is choosing to support such things.

Caribou Barbie..:lmao:

ETA: I found this on photobucket, had to add it here..sorry if it's already been around..

Well good grief! This one is new to me. :rotfl2:

You're kiddin' right? :confused3 I mean you are actually defending the "teachings' that came out of that church that the rest of the country found so appalling? Even Obama himself said he didn't go along with that stuff. Not that I believe him. His actions speak far louder than his words.

Unbelievable. She probably thinks if she keeps repeating that she didn't do anything wrong everyone will just start to believe her. They do have their own reality. After all she is still telling everyone that she stopped that bridge to nowhere. Bizzaro world.

Well, it worked for George Bush. He kept telling people that we went into Iraq because of 9/11. I'm amazed at how many people now believe that Iraq was involved.
