Hi
Just a querey as I have read that people get discounts for AAA membership /showing their card especially in universal shops /hotels and resturants. Can I use my AA membership card to get this discount or have I got the wrong end of the broom:lmao:

As a member of AA you also get the benefits of ARC Europe which entitles you to use in these countries http://www.arceurope.com/en/participatingclubs.aspx

http://www.arceurope.com/EN/memberservices.aspx

I have never used mine as we have AP's for all the parks but many use it without problems.

Anyone still not have AA membership you can now buy for £6.50(£28 less £21.50 cashback) Gives you 1 years Roadside breakdown cover(UK) and AAA discounts in US http://www.quidco.com/aa-uk-breakdown?st

Wayne this is ace:banana: Worth the £6.50 for the aa membership.(21.20 cashback).Seen the US site talk about their AAA card getting them 10% off in most resturants in citywalk and most stores. Sure will more than pay for my membership.:thumbsup2

You can use it pretty much anywhere in City Walk or Universal Studios. We saved about $30 (2 people, 1 week). Wish I'd known this on previous trips!

Oooh, I'll take mine and fingers crossed it works in Margaritaville!

Have RAC cover but a couple of months ago got AA membership via Quidco just to get the AAA discounts for when off site and at universal :thumbsup2

I am pretty sure you can get AA discounts on your Loews (Universal) hotels too. :thumbsup2

You can definately get 10% discount on any Disney backstage tours...Keys to the Kingdom etc. :thumbsup2

I have read a dozen threads and the latest dated 10th june says the following 10% discounts at:
GHiridelle(never heard of it-some cake coffee shop DTD)
Earl of sandwich.
Fulton crab house (lunch 20% dinner 10%)
wolfgang puck express 10%
planet hollywood
Bongos
world of disney
Basin
and also 15% of fantasia and wintersummerland golf.
There are probably other discounts but it says to just ask at each stores.

With Quidco doing membership at £6.50 it is a bit of a no-brainer if you are thinking of eating in Universal/Islands of Adventure/CityWalk.

I haven't planned any meals in the area but I'm going to get the membership just in case for that price! I should think eating twice (two adults, two children) will cover the cost and you get the basic AA cover for nothing. Happy days.

Now off to Quidco. :car:
