I heard rumors of this last year.

We spent about 2 hours in OMD, we love love love it.

I really hope it doesn't go anywhere!

As far as I know there are no plans to close it and there are no rumblings on any of the regular rumour sites.

I don't think they would close it ever, move it maybe, but not shut it.

I heard they are closing the Prince Caspian attraction which is nearby - perhaps someone got muddled??

I know there are rumours that when the Backlot Tour and Honey I Shrunk the Kids playset close for maintenance next month that they may not re-open??

i hope they dont close it, we love spending a few hours strolling around looking at everyhting in there, its a good way to get out of the sunshine for a bit and i always have a tear in my eye when we leave

Phew! Thanks for the good news everyone!!

TBH we didn't go anywhere near the Prince Caspian thing so we wouldn't miss that!

I hope not.
We went for the first time on our last visit and we were ALL (yes including the teenager) fascinated and stayed for an hour or two. We will definately go back this year for another look.

I can remember reading this too (although I can't remember where) so I made sure to spend a lot of time in there this trip!
Yeah, that's what we did, well actually before we went in I was like "this might not be here next time, so lets see it all" then once we got there we were so engrossed we went in at about 10.45 and were almost late for our 12.45 Sci-Fi ADR!

I love love LOVE it!

We did this for the first time last week. It was a surprise as my DD absolutely loved it, took me ages to get her out of there.

Actually just a few weeks before we went she didn't even know Walt Disney was a person:confused3 We were watching the DVD extra on snow white when she said "Walt Disney is a person!" in a shocked voice. She is used to the name being associated with a product she finds it funny that someone would be called Walt Disney.
