you must go . Car cruise is a must the shops are great lots of bargins, the food is great. We like the Chinese takaway from there. The people are so friendly.

How easy is it to get to from the DTD area, and how long does it take?

Personally I think Old Town is going down the pan. Like many people we tend to look in on virtually every visit but on the last two we have seen a difference. The last time was a midweek evening and there were people who were drunk and a few who looked to be under the influence of other things and they were being a nuisance. There was no security anywhere in sight.
You should also be aware of a scam that has been happening. When you go to leave you are followed and asked for money for a 'donation' before you get in your car. Happened to a friend of mine and I recently heard of it happening to someone else.
Best time to visit I would suspect is on the nights of the car parades but at other times make sure you are alert.

hmm sound advice, you do have to be careful - to be honest I have been midweek and the atmosphere just isn't the same, hence we always go at the weekend.
